Do I need to bring anything?

Yes, a laptop and charger. Your planning template is digital and you will be filling it out during the day. An iPad or tablet is fine, most prefer a laptop. (Don’t worry! You don’t need to be tech savvy!)

Can my manager anttend instead of me?

Short answer? No. However we are open to hearing about your specific situation. This event is designed for the ‘decision makers’ in the business. You are more then welcome to bring your manager along with you, it’s actually game changing when you do!

I am a sole operator, is this event right for me?

GREAT question!

Some of the themes in the event are directly related to team and leadership, so if your are planning on growing and employing in the future this content will be highly valuable. If you have a hobby business and are not wanting to grow your revenue, profit or implement change, it may be best to sit this one out.

What if I need specific support during the day?

Every attendee gets a private 1-1 session with a coach in post event to provide you will an in-depth review and clarity on implementation. During the event, you will be given SO MUCH support and feedback. We fly our entire coaching team in for the day.

Who else will be in the room?

At YGC, we absolutely nail the community side of our coaching program. We do this by not just delivering great content, but by facilitating meaningful discussions with your peers so you can hear how other people are navigating the same themes in business.

The vast majority of the event attendees are our coaching clients and their team leaders. Aside from our clients, we often have special guests attend like event sponsors and industry people.

Will I be sharing private information?

Only if you want to. As mentioned, we open meaningful conversations within our community, but that does not mean you will need to volunteer financial information to us or the community.

We will however, invite you to share your share your learnings are collaborate as much as you feel comfortable to do so.

All our events are a perfect mix of community, content, education and coaching. This ensures all learning opportunities/formats are covered.

What if I can’t stay the whole day?

We strongly recommend attending the full event so you don’t miss any planning milestones. Each session builds on the last.

What if I my business is already doing well?

Great! This event helps successful businesses refine their strategy, elevate their marketing and accelerate growth with sharper focus.

I’m nervous that it will all go over my head!

A brilliant coach (us😉) will be able to deliver complex concepts in a way that makes it easy to understand, that’s their job! FYI…. We have all been in a room with a coach that likes the sound of their own voice and uses complex language to feed their own ego. Jay has a big ego, but for different reasons!

The idea of being stuck in a room all day fills me with DREAD! 😵‍💫

“It’s Jay here! …. I have ADHD and I’m a typical creative, “high i” personality type. That means sitting down in a conference room all day is my idea of torture! That said, we have made sure that there’s plenty of breaks, we also deliver shorter sections of information, and topics that have more complex/detailed information are always followed up with something that is “easier on the brain”.

We have hosted 30+ events now, so we know how to manage the energy and state of a room.
